When I was a teenager I remember having the discussion with a friend of mine that the studio recorded version of any given song was always the best one.
My argument was a simple one. The recorded version was done to the perfection in exactly the way the artist intended you to hear it. It was just common sense to me. Man did this one ever come back to haunt me.
There is just something special when an artist or a band is having those nights that they leave all on the stage. Today I am providing you with a prime example of this. Below is a live performance of Fleetwood Mac performing “Rhiannon”
The band is simply on fire and Nick’s performance is truly memorizing. She is so dialed in you can see it her eyes.

Live Music for me! Especially when the performer puts an unique spin on the track. Studio music in my eyes is for the masses whereas, live music is a personal voyage with the artist often performed in some stunning venues. Recently saw Tori Amos in Philadelphia and the experience was way beyond what she produces in any studio.
