So yesterday we had yet another band from yesteryear released an album. I am of course talking about the Eagles. Re-releasing Hotel California (40th Anniversary Expanded Edition)
It was forty years ago the band released their best selling album “Hotel California”. It spawned two consecutive number one Billboard top hundred hits. “The New Kid in Town” and of course “Hotel California”. To this day it’s six highest-selling album of all time. Selling over 32 million copies worldwide. I am truly amazed that it took them this long to remaster it.
There are no new songs but there are ten new live unreleased recordings. Taken from the Los Angeles forum in the fall of 1976. ( It’s amazing how they just happen to find these recordings)
Now I really hate how they sucker you in with these previously unheard tracks of songs you already love. They, of course, do it because it works. Fuckers!

This should be on vinyl. Do you know if it is? Or if there’s any plan to release on vinyl?
