So yesterday we were treated to the release of Bob Seger new album “ I Knew You When” Which got me thinking what else might be coming down the pipeline. Since I been devoting most of my time to improving and promoting Dreams in the wind. I have not had the time really look around. Well, tonight I made it point to set some time aside to do just that. Boy am I glad I did!
Low and behold it was announced that Toto will be releasing a new greatest hits package titled “40 Trips Around The Sun” on February 9, 2018. Which will include three previously unreleased tracks. One which is included below for your listing pleasure.
It’s important to note that just is not just some remastered version of old recordings. All songs were re-recorded earlier this year. With all the core members of the band on hand for the project. You can read more details about the release here: https://goo.gl/kX4K1
As big Toto fan, I will be getting this for sure. The old songs are going to sound great being recorded using modern day technology. Plus the new song “Alone” as a darker edge to it that you don’t see much with their past releases.
